The GP Difference
Georgetown Pilates is a trusted and respected name. Clients return for the airy, calming, and restorative energy that Heather and her practice cultivate. Her approach is both clinical and deeply intuitive, blending expertise with a holistic sensibility. She trained under renowned master teachers in the Romana Kryzanowska Pilates lineage, including Bob Leikens, Susan Moran-Perich, Karen Garia, and Peter Fiasca. The studio became a Power Pilates Host Studio for teacher training in 2010, emphasizing the purity of Joseph Pilates' method to realign body imbalances and promote overall well-being.
The studio offers classical Pilates apparatus instruction, group mat classes, yoga, acupuncture, and muscle activation techniques. All sessions are by appointment only, with private sessions available for individuals, duets, or corporate groups.
The Request
Our goal was to honor the studio’s historical roots in Georgetown, with a refreshed, modern design. Georgetown’s blend of history, sophistication, and waterfront scenery makes it visually distinctive. They sought a design that embodied the concepts of balance, alignment, and simplicity in form, color, and typography. The logo needed to be versatile and memorable as it would also be used for signage and marketing materials.
Our Collaborative Result
A refined, modern, brand identity that blends tradition with modernity. The rebrand enhanced Heather’s presence, attracting new clientele and opportunities.
